Car Home GPS turns your phone into a personal navigation device. It does this by automatically launching the Navigation app when your phone is placed into a car dock or manually put into car mode. Clicking the Home button toggles the phone between the Navigation and Car Home apps (Car Home GPS must be set as the default for this to work). If your phone does not have a Car Home app, the home screen is used instead. This app also automates the following:
Enter car mode:
1. Enables Bluetooth
2. Enables the speakerphone if no Bluetooth devices connect
3. Disables Wi-Fi
4. Dismisses non-secure keyguards
Exit car mode:
1. Disables Bluetooth if not in a call
2. Enables Wi-Fi
3. Launches the home screen
This app is not intended to be used as a Car Home replacement. Instead, it extends the base Car Home capabilities.
